Food was really good, spicy but delicious. Line was long but when is not. Convenient location, nice staff.

I wish I could give this poorly ran establishment zero stars but unfortunately yelp must have sympathy for such disgraces of a businesses. Let me list the reasons not to go rather than go into a short novel why this place sucks. - no manager/ lack of leadership - short staffed - slow as whale sh**t - orders messed up left and right - employees talking about how they are on drugs - new employees working busy shift with probably no training With all this said I will never go back/ recommend it anyone

Not bad, not bad. If you have a hankering for Mexican and are also on a time crunch this place will do the trick. Their parking lot is indeed tricky to get into, but parking is ample and well placed. You can pretty much have your food here within 5 minutes even if their line is long. Chipotle is the epitome of casual dining. You walk up... pick your rice (one scoop of brown for me), pick your meat (I chose the carnitas which was very heavily flavored with pepper instead of the lime I'm used to), pick your beans (pinto or black---hey the good for the heart! The more you eat the more you....I digress), add toppings like : sour cream, lettuce, mild salsa, corn salsa (which is my favorite), hot salsa, and/ or guac (their guac used to be better and for that matter I think their meat quality has declined as well), pay your bill, pick a seat, and grub. It's that easy. You can be in and out of here in 30 minutes flat, as we were. They have a lovely outside area for Florida's (Boca Raton's more accurately) gorgeous days. Better music and a TV would certainly add some character to the joint.

They had no guacamole which made my whole experience at chipotle disastrous. Nothing tasted right. The steak wasn't cooked well and the black beans tasted so plain. I have been to numerous of chipotle franchises but this one was the worst. Never coming again. Threw out most of my food

It's chipotle. I love it. It's always been simple, clear, and fresh. There are not many restaurants left like this let alone fast ones.

When you want relatively quick food while driving on I95, this is a much better alternative than McD's or Taco Hell. It's as busy as can be so grin and bear it or get a Big Mac. It's your choice!

  • Stefan S.

It always smells like dirty mop water in here--always. To-go orders are sometimes not ready by the selected pick-up time, but they make up for this by having a designated window for anyone who places a to-go order. Try to get here before noon because there is never anywhere to sit once the lunch crowd rushes in.

This location has to be the best one I have been to by far except for their restrooms (eek!) It is in a great location because they are right next to FAU so expect wait lines but the Chipotle crew seem to do a pretty good job keeping the lines moving. I had a salad bowl with only veggies and I must say they were fresh, juicy, and well cooked especially the onions, yum! I tried a sample of the pork (carnitas) and it was amazingly moist and tender. Even when it became cold, it was still moist and tender. Good job, guys!

4 stars for the pretty decent, cheap, relatively healthy/hormone free, huge amount of food....minus 1 star for the surly teenage eye-rolling brats trying to rush you along in line. I am not a slow orderer by any means, but just because I don't like everything slopped on top of everything else in a big pile doesn't mean I'm a pain in the ass. The dinner-crowed servers were pushing my bowl down the line faster than I could order. They gave me the damn eye-rolling attitude if I dared ask for something on the side. They need a serious attitude adjustment.

Chipotle is one of my go-to places when I do not want to cook. Not all of their locations are the same as far as portion size & even pricing. The Boca store is my favorite & I drive right by it on my way home from work, so it's definitely convenient. The employees at this location are always friendly. One time I tried to order the steak instead of my usual chicken & the girl told me it was very very spicy. I like spice so I said no problem. This young girl gave me a sample just so I knew how spicy it was. I did not ask her to do this but I was so happy she gave me that sample. She was right because I would not have enjoyed the steak. It was beyond spicy. I usually order a bowl with brown rice, black beans, chicken, corn salsa & guacamole on the side. I know other people have complained about the $1.80 charge for the guacamole. I feel that it is worth every penny. They make it fresh throughout the day & it is awesome. Avocados are expensive. Next time your in Publix check them out. For the $1.80 they charge I feel it is fully justified. If I stop in here after work it is about 5:15-5:30. The line moves fast, so don't leave if you see a line. The staff here knows how to efficiently process the orders & keep the line moving. I have never waited more than ten minutes tops. This Chipotle is one of the better ones. It's clean, the food is always fresh & the staff is awesome. I recommend the Boca store 100%.

When ordering I asked if the chips were hot. "Yes they are" stated the cashier, so I ordered them. They were about as hot as a bag of Doritos, meaning they were not hot in the least. Tasted as though they had been sitting there for hours. A couple were as tough as leather. The ramekin of salsa I paid extra for was only 1/2 full. Next time I'll head to Moe's across the street.

Not more to say about Chipotle than what has been already said...good, quick and fresh food for a great price! I definitely need a 'Chipotle Fix' every couple of weeks. You can also have it fairly healthy with the proper selections. I usually order the burrito bowl with chicken or steak and brown rice. This location has been very consistent with the good service, portions and quality.

Always tasty. Always fresh. You know what you will get every time and it's pretty darn good.

Good consistent food. It's chipotle. What more can I say? Not my favorite Mexican place but they are everywhere at least.

    (3)
  • Jason G.

Good reasonably priced fast food Mexican. It's not authentic by any stretch but it works when you're hungry. I'm not a big fan of them charging $2 for a spoon of guacamole but such is life. Moe's offers free grilled onions, guacamole and even gives you chips just with your meal. Chipotle gives you nada. When they started they also gave you 4 tacos, but now they give you just 3. I personally think their pork is the best. Chicken sometimes taste bland and their beef is chunky and dry most of the times. Shredded beef and pork is probably the best of the 4 meat choices. Chipotle is on every corner and obviously more accessible so it's probably the wiser choice. Avoid lunch time as the lines are literally out the door. The place is clean and service is usually good but I think their food is just average at best.

  • Joshua G.

Great food but the place is usually packed due to families having 1 family member get in line to order for a family of 5. Personally, I would just use the Chipotle app and order ahead instead of waiting in line behind those famililes. Otherwise I love Chipotle!

  • Guil M.

My favorite "Mexican" place for a quick lunch between classes! I always get the chicken bowl with a tortilla on the side, guacamole, sour cream, corn, salsa, and extra cheese! Sometimes their chicken comes under-seasoned and kind of tasteless, but most of the time it's pretty good. Do NOT get their steak! It's so tough and has a horrible flavor. Everything is very reasonably priced.

    (4)
  • Rachelle G.

I love this Chipotle, always consistent, fast and delicious! This location is always busy but in my opinion that is a good thing, means there is always fresh food being served. If you are in a hurry, order online! I usually place an order via my iPhone app and go pick it up with no wait!

    (4)
  • Bill S.

This is super popular during lunch and for a good reason - it is tasty. I get the Burrito with 1/2 pork and 1/2 shredded beef as the mild pork offsets the spicy beef.

    (4)
  • Rachel M.

I love it!!!! Food is consistently fresh! Delicious and very reasonably priced for the amount of food one gets, the quality of the food and your ability to have it however you like! It gets pretty crowded during peak hours (lunch, dinner) but no worries, moves pretty quickly! Also, there has recently been a kid's menu added for the younger Chipotle fans!

  • Greshka P.

If you can, avoid going at noon. I usually go after 1pm and have never had a problem but today was just horrible waiting. Even after ordering online, half an hour before I went there, I still had to wait 20 minute for my order. Part of the problem was that the girl getting orders ready forgot certain things on some orders of people in front of me, and the other reason is just that at that time it gets packed. For that same reason the employees don't have time to clean tables, soda station, etc, so the place was a bit of a mess. Still 3 stars because food was good, as always, but will definitely remember to not go again at this time of day.

  • Tanya L.

YUM.. Can never go wrong with Chipotle. Came here for lunch with a friend and we always order online to avoid the lines during lunch hours. However, today we ended up waiting longer than the regular line would. I ordered the usual barbacoa bowl. When I asked the cashier for my order they had to prepare it. The beverage section was a bit filthy. We sat outside since all the tables inside were taken. Food was great however was not very pleased with the service.

  • Nick B.

This is your standard Chipotle: Delicious burritos (or bowls, tacos, etc) and chips make for a very good meal! I went late at night, so it wasn't busy at all, and it was a great night to enjoy my burrito on the seating out front (a little limited, but hey, if you can snag a table, enjoy the decent weather.) This location is kind of in a weird strip mall area, but it's not at all hard to find.

    Always good food.

  • Anand D.

The food at chipotle is always fresh and delicious! Don't get intimidated if there is a long line. It usually moves pretty fast! If you haven't tried Chipotle already, give them a try you'll be glad you did.

    (4)
  • Brian R.

I still like Moe's across the street better, but the food quality is good, and this Chipotle has reasonably decent service. I think it's a bit overpriced for what they deliver.

    (3)
  • Karl D.

Excellent! Prefer going for dinner instead of lunch, as lunch is too busy. Great value for your money. Even if you're a vegan you can find something to eat here and you can "design" your own meal. Go back often!

I'm a huge Chipotle fan, and all I can say is I'm so grateful my local Chipotle in Los Angeles is not run like this one. They were out of black beans, and the employee said to me with a flippant attitude, "We close at 6." I'm sorry, but that isn't an excuse for poor operations management or poor customer service. The least he should've done is sincerely apologize. The next employees were yelling at customers five feet away as to what they wanted on their burrito. It was total chaos. Um, why not just wait until the customer is front of you? Then the guy in front of me bought the last bag of chips and when it was our turn to pay the cashier he answered the phone and walked away. From what I heard, it sounded like a personal call. As we sat outside eating, we saw employees turn away around 25 customers in 10 minutes. There was a sign on the door that said they were closing early for the staff holiday party. Based on their service, they don't deserve a party. Why not have the employee party at 10 pm at closing? Chipotle is damaging their customer base closing early. Two customers left visibly angry, and I would've been angry too had we not been lucky enough to make it in time. I'm vegan and was driving from North Carolina to Miami. This is the only Chipotle on the way, and I'd specifically factored it into my itinerary.

place stays busy, line moves fast! barbacoa brown rice + black bean burrito bowl loaded with every damn thing they gots on there and i easily got 2 meals for the day outta it. staff is friendly and efficient.

  • Maria C.

How would you like to be yelled at by the Burrito Nazi? I went to Chipotle which is a place I usually like very much. As I am trying to identify the different meats I point to one of them and the Burrito Nazi screams: HANDS BEHIND THE GLASS M'AM!!!!! Holy smokes, how about being a little nice? The food was good but I am scared of going back!

  • Michael J.

Good food. Best guacamole for a "fast food" burrito place. Overpriced for this type of restaurant. The meet is all natural blah blah blah. I prefer Willy's in Atlanta with Chipotle being a close second. Its ridiculous that they charge extra for chips and salsa. Ridiculous. Better than Moe's even though it cost a bit more.

    (3)
  • Roger K.

I love Chipotle! Usually all of the franchises are pretty much the same, but this one is always packed. I am used to getting great food fast at Chipotle, but when you come here you may have to wait 5-10 minutes. (Not bad, but not the usual 1-3 minutes) The food was good, but not as seasoned as I am used to. I had the chicken fajita burrito. Other than that, everything was great. You can't go wrong with Chipotle!

    (4)
  • John O.

Consistent quality. They play the organic/hormone free card - which relieves some of the guilt assoiciated with wolfing down a 3 pound burrito for lunch. I hear people complain that the food is "too Americanized" as it is a large national chain - I don't know about that; I do know that the burritos are very tasty! (It does appear that the workers there are authentic mexicanos) Environment is sleek/stark bordering on sterile. You know it is clean. Always a line, but it moves fast. Younger crowd popular with the college students and families Bogus wine based "Margaritas" should be avoided. They charge extra for tortilla chips -that is just WRONG.

They always forget the goddamned salad dressing!!!!! argh

Always a line, staff couldn't care less, loud noisy, Bocaites leave messes on tables (bussing is infrequent) Food is fake sub par mexican and limited selection. Take a look at the calorie counter for one of their burittos!

    (2)
  • Jordan R.

OH MAN. chip is the sh*t! get the burrito or the b bowl! you cant go wrong here. just remember, even tho its all fresh, the calories add up... so hit the gym after! haha

  • Craig S.

I don't know how they do it for the price they do it, but Chipotle has some of the best food for the money I've ever had! The only reason I give 4 stars is due to the very inconsistent service, and the wide range of portion size. I will say that although portion size varies from server to server, if you ask for a bit more, they will typically give it to you without too much grief, although you may get the occasional harassment for having the nerve to ask! Also, the music they play is annoying, and its often too hot in the store. But, the food is so good that it often outweighs any negatives.

  • Jason P.

My review is based on the nature of this "restaurant" - it is really a fast food place. This is the only fast food restaurant I will frequent, and it is reasonably good. The quality of the food is par to good and each location is fairly clean. Cons include the fact that it is a chain restaurant, they don't have/are often out of Tabasco sauce (and they don't have anything hot to put on my burrito behind the counter), no wheat tortillas, very poor quality tortilla chips/sub-par salsa, & no brown rice (also, they sell the same soda and other crap that you find at all other fast food restaurants). Pros include the fact that vegetarians get free guac on their burritos ($2 extra for meat burritos - as a vegetarian I get annoyed when I have to pay the same price for non-meat as meat entrees when the restaurant spends less to prepare my meals).

    (3)
  • Jay M.

Yummy. The best of the fast food mexican joints. Love that barbacoa. Unfortunately, you always feel like hibernating after eating here.

    (5)

My second favorite chain burrito place... right behind Currito.

    (5)
  • Susie N.

Chipotle is excellent, and a good value for the dollar when you consider that they use only organic, family-farmed, hormone free meats and other ingredients. The lines tend to be long around lunch time, however their service is fast and you can place an order online or via fax and pick it up without waiting in line.

    (5)
  • Mike V.

Chipotle is great. the lines that this place always has arent that awesome, but the good food makes up for it. the price is definitely up there, almost every time i go here its about 8-10 bucks. its about 2 bucks extra for guac. definitely worth it every once and while though

    (3)
  • Simon H.

I like this place, their fast service and no-nonsese burritos are always a good catch. They are stuffed thicker than many of their competitors, with rice and several flavors of salsa. The places have plenty of seats, and the prices are reasonable. However, they don't give free chips with your burrito.

    (4)
  • Alissa W.

Ok I love chipotle I am almost addicted. I just do t get why they are the only Mexican chain that serves dark meat chicken :( that is my only problem . I just getting the veggie bowl you can add all the same items. And they give you a huge glop of guacamole that is amazing. Everything is always fresh I like how they use romaine lettuce. Also then lines get long but they are really fast!

  • J M.

One star for tasty tacos and burritos. It was our first time at Chipotle. We didn't know ordering system too well, and we were yelled and their eyes rolled and moved on to the cashier while still requesting for lettuce and sour cream. Dining area was dirty. Floor was sticky. So was our table. Looked around and noticed not a clean table was in sight. There was a background music played in the area, and also Latin music was coming blasting out from the kitchen. Chaotic. Bathrooms were the worst. According to my boyfriend, men's room was the same. Let's just put it this way, they weren't cleaned for a good while. If you can, hold it. Avoid going in there. We are not going back there. At least not this Glades Road location in Boca Raton.

    (1)
  • Nick R.

Consistently good. Lines can get very long when I usually go around 6pm. Last night I stopped by at 7:30 and breezed right through. Friendly service. Whenever I need something fast and on the go, this is one of the spots I head over to. Could use a little more attention to cleaning the tables and drink area.

  • Perry S.

Firstly I want to say is that I love Chipotle, I always eat it at least once a week. When I was visiting Boca and needed something to eat I decided to visit this location. The girl working the first station, no greeting, no biggie. I asked for plain brown rice, not a big fan of cilantro, she starts taking it with a spoon, leaving half on the floor (use a cup it is easier), but she did it twice, then I noticed how dirty the whole station was, yikes. It wasn't that busy that you can't clean up. Next time I'm gonna head down the road to the other location.

I had always heard of this place but had no idea what i was in for. I freaking love mexican food so when i moved from PR to FL i was devastated i didnt have a go-to mexican resuelve. Well this place mostly hits the spot. I usually have the Veggie Salad with rice, black beans, (some) corn, (some) cheese, Pico de gallo, HOT SAUCE, and yummy Guacamole. Just delicious! On another note, My guy usually has the Bowl with rice, chicken, pinto beans, lettuce, (some) pico de gallo and (some) cheese. He loves it as well. What we are not too wild about is that the chips are a bit too salty for my taste.... and chips with dip are usually our thang!! So yeah when i cook at home i make my own chipotle like salad but when i dont want to cook, thats definetly my go to place .

  • Michael M.

Glad they yelled at the other Yelper for hands behind the glass. No offense, but why? LOL.. Anyways-- I love The Chip but I am beginning to see a bit of greed on their end. First of all the lines are waaayy toooo long at this one. I have a hard time convincing my wife to get Chipolte because of this BUT thank goodness for online ordering. Very easy to use BUT the last time I ordered online they did not have it ready and I ended up waiting 8 minutes. Not a biggy but their line was already out the door. I looked at another patron who walked in and waited in line and he may have gotten through 1/4th the line. So I still waited less than he did. Now my other problem I notice with Chipolte is that they are getting stingy on their scoops. 2 years ago when I ordered steak they would give almost 2 scoops worth. Than a year ago it was 1 scoop and I had to pay for a second. Now it's one scoop and they intentionally let a couple pieces fall off. It has not been just one time either. So now I'm barely getting any protein. I am happy however that they are opening anew Chipolte on Palmetto and Jog. This should hopefully help out on wait time. Just hope they do not continue with being so stingy.

Its alright... it cost more than Moe's and doesn't come with as much stuff. they even charge for 'extra' stuff on it... I think Moe's is better. maybe would be better if their price was more fair.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
